HITE A well known and esteemed resident of the East End, died at 12.30 o'clock this morning at her home, 520 East Pottsgrove avenue, after a lengthy illness with a complication of diseases. Deceased was the daughter of Fred and Sarah Ann Wilt and was born in Juniata township, Blair county, near Newry on Sept. 5, 1855. She was the widow of Samuel D. Hite who preceded her to the grave thirty-seven years ago. She was a member of the Greenwood United Brethren church and is survived by the following children: Josiah Hite and Mrs. Blanche Grove of Hollidaysburg, Mrs. Mary Boyles and Mrs. Myra Wysong of Altoona, Ira, Lloyd and Lewis Hite of Greenwood; Harvey Hite of Altoona and Miss Sarah Hite at home. She is also survived by two sisters and three brothers, Mrs. Anna Beck of Greenwood, Mrs. Dessie Baird of Altoona, Scott Wilt of Greenwood, Fred Wilt of Altoona and Elmer Wilt of Juniata. The funeral will take place from the home at 3.30 o'clock Wednesday afternoon. Interment will be made in the Lutheran cemetery at Newry. Altoona Mirror, Altoona, Pa., Monday, September 8, 1930
