HITE Well known farmer of the Poplar Run section, west of Newry, died at his home at Poplar Run last night at 10.15 o'clock of a complication of ailments. Deceased was born on Aug. 1, 18** at Puzzletown, a son of George and Hanna (Wilt) Hite. He was united in marriage on April 18, 18[*9?] to M[rs.?] Cath**** [*****] of East Freedom, [who survives?] [along with?] **** children: Mrs. [illegible] of Martinsburg, John H. of Greenwood, Mrs. Bertha J. [Rown?] of Altoona and [illegible] H. Hite of [illegible]. Also surviving are eight brothers and sisters: Mrs. Jane Kunsman and James P. Hite of Poplar Run, Mary C. and Howard G. Hite of near Puzzletown, Henry M. Hite of Sharon Center, O., Mrs. Margaret Nonemaker of Tyrone, George C. Hite of South Lakemont and Mrs. Clara Ehrenfeld of near Eldorado, and eight grandchildren. Mr. Hite was a member of the Pine Grove United Brethren church at Puzzletown. Funeral services will be conducted at the church at 2.30 o'clock Wednesday afternoon in charge of the pastor, Rev. [illegible], the cortege to leave the house at 2 o'clock. Interment will be made in the church cemetery.
