Hoffman, of 422 Fortieth street, South Altoona, died at his home at 4.55 o'clock yesterday afternoon, of a complication of diseases, following a six months' illness. He was born at Chambersburg, Pa., November 2, 1885, and had resided in this vicinity for a number of years. He had until his late illness, conducted a tin shop at 804 Twelfth street. He was married eleven years ago and is survived by his wife and four children: Ellice, Charles, Clara and Arline. His father, Louis Hoffman and one brother, Herbert, both of Altoona, also survive, as well as one sister, Lizzie Hall, of Brainerd, Minn. The funeral arrangements will be announced later. Hoffman will be held with services at the late home, 422 Fortieth street, South Altoona, at 8 o'clock this evening, in charge of the Rev. Marion J. Kline, D.D.
