GERTRUDE HOFMAN Mrs. Gertrude Hofman, wife of Mr. Harry Hofman, of 610 1/2 Twenty- second street, died yesterday morning at 4:20 o'clock after an illness of several years. She was born June 6, 1872, daughter of Joseph and Tillie (deceased) Sellers. Surviving are her husband and the following children: Miss Margaret, Mrs. F. R. Stewart, Paul, J. L., and Clifford, all of this city; also by her father, Joseph Sellers, of Altoona, and by these brothers and sisters: Thomas Sellers, of Seattle, Wash.; Robert Sellers, of South Lakemont; Mrs. T. Y. Brett, of Brooklyn, N.Y., and Mrs. Samuel Hersey, of Milesburg, Pa. Deceased was a member of the Calvary Baptist church for many years. The funeral will be held from the home of her daughter, Mrs. F. R. Stewart, of 2200 Seventh avenue, Wednesday afternoon at 2:30. Interment in Oak Ridge cemetery. Altoona Tribune, Tuesday morning, September 3, 1918, page 10
