Died at the Home of Her Niece, Mrs. Isenberg, on Penn'a Avenue. Monday morning at 3 o'clock the spirit life of Mrs. Elizabeth F. Hogan passed into the eternal world. Mrs. Hogan, whose home had been in the southern part of the state, came to Tyrone about six weeks ago to make her home with her grand niece, Mrs. A. P. Isenberg, on Pennsylvania avenue. One week ago today she suffered a stroke of paralysis and gradually grew weaker until she passed peacefully away at the above mentioned time. Mrs. Hogan was a devoted member of the United Brethren church and was faithful to the end. She was a daughter of the late John and Elizabeth Baker, and was born at Reading, Pa., her age being 73 years and 9 months. Her husband, Thomas Hogan, preceded her to the grave about 27 years ago. Surviving to mourn her death are the following sisters: Mrs. Martha Wall, Reading; Mrs. Hannah Stout, Charleston, South Caroline, and Mrs. Matilda Martz, of Beverly, N.J. The body was taken to the home of Mr. and Mrs. B. R. Root, Birmingham, on Tuesday. Funeral services were conducted Wednesday afternoon at 2.30 o'clock by Rev. H. S. Sherman. Interment at Birmingham.
