Mary Virginia Hogue, whose father, Lieutenant John D. Hogue, is one of Altoona's well known physicians who for some time has been in France, died yesterday morning at 5.20 at the parental residence, 1216 Twelfth avenue. Death was due to pneumonia following an attack of influenza. The child was 7 years of age and was the oldest daughter of John D. and Nellie Trout Hogue. Besides the parents she is survived by two younger sisters, Martha Neall and Elizabeth Caldwell. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Sunday school. The funeral will be private and will be held from the late home this afternoon at 4 o'clock; interment in Fairview cemetery. The father when he wrote last was located at base hospital No. 3, in France, being attached to the American army.
