Following a stroke of apoplexy with which she was seized on Monday evening at 6 o'clock, Miss Margaret Hohlock, an esteemed resident, died yesterday morning at 6 o'clock at her home on South Penn street. She had been in comparatively good health and her sudden demise was a great shock to her relatives and friends. Deceased was the oldest daughter of Frederick and Rosanna Hohlock, both deceased, of Hollidaysburg, and resided here all her lifetime, where she was born on September 11, 1866. Miss Hohlock was a devout member of St. Michael's church, which she faithfully attended from childhood and for which she lived. She is survived by two brothers, George and Charles, and two sisters, Mary and Stella. The funeral will take place on Thursday morning at 9 o'clock from her late residence on Penn street, to St. Michael's church, where a requiem mass will be celebrated by Rev. Father J. J. Ergler for the repose of her soul. Interment will be made in St. Mary's cemetery. Altoona Tribune, Wednesday, January 8, 1919, page 2
