Hoke, widow of the late David Hoke, a former resident of this city, died in Wilkes-Barre early yesterday morning after a brief illness. She was aged 88 years and had been hale and hearty until shortly before her death. She is survived by three daughters - Mrs. Theodore Wood, of Chambersburg; Mrs. S. C. Galbraith, of Pittsburg, and Mrs. L. A. Tuttle, of Wilkes-Barre, with whom she resided. One son also survives, Reamer Hoke, who lives in Ohio. The body will be brought to this city and the funeral services will be held at the Lafferty & Tobias parlors at 10:30 o'clock Thursday morning. Mrs. Hoke was a member of the Second Presbyterian church of this city and the funeral services will be conducted by her former pastor, the Rev. H. H. Stiles.
