ESTHER (DAVIS) HOLLEN 

A former resident of Altoona, died Saturday evening at the home of a 
daughter, Mrs. George Sarver of Beaver Falls, with whom she had resided 
for the past 10 years. She was born in Altoona Oct. 1, 1876, a daughter 
of John and Sarah (Keylor) Davis, and was a life member of the 
Mountaindale Baptist church. Surviving are two sons and two daughters, 
Mrs. Margaret Sarver, Lester and Carl Burkhart, in California, and Mrs. 
Paul Allen of Rea, Pa.; five step-children, John Hollen of Youngstown, 
O., Mrs. Carl Benten and Mrs. William Staats of Akron, O., Mrs. Esther 
Walker of Bellwood and Mrs. William McAllister of Altoona; eight 
grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and one sister, Mrs. Mae 
Shoemaker of Bellevue. Friends are being received at the-Campbell 
funeral home, Beaver Falls.
