She was born July 25, 1951 in Altoona a daughter of Robert and Alice (Brenneman) Calderwood. She was raised in the home of her uncle John and aunt Anna Wisnieski in Thomastown. On Feb. 27, 1970 in Convoy, N.C., she married Robert L. Hollen. Surviving is her husband; three daughters, Tina L. Calderwood of Thomastown, Shelly L. Halloran and husband Donovan of Tyrone, and Amy Jo Hoff and husband Jay R. of Thomastown; three grandsons, Shawn Michael Halloran, Wyatt Hoff and Corey Hoff; and her mother of Altoona; a sister, Betsy Wyper of Altoona; two brothers, Lawrence Calderwood of Tipton and Robert Calderwood of Altoona; and her uncle, John Wisnieski of Thomastown. She was preceded in death by a sister, Margaret "Sis" Pike. Mrs. Hollen was an LPN at the Tyrone Hospital from 1988 to 1994. She was a 1969 graduate of Altoona High School and received her LPN degree from the Altoona Vo-Tech in 1984. She enjoyed her grandchildren, her dog Cassie and family vacations with her husband and family. Funeral services will be held Friday, Dec. 12, 2003 at 11 a.m. at the Feller Memorial Home with Rev. Jay E. Jones officiating. Entombment will follow at Blair Memorial Park. Friends will be received at the Feller Memorial Home on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. and on Friday from 10 a.m. until the time of services. Tyrone Daily Herald, December 9, 2003
