All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/pa/blair/ _________________________________________ DENTON OLIVER HOLLY A veteran employe of the West Virginia Pulp & Paper company, died at the home of his son, Nial Holly, 713 Washington avenue, Tyrone, last night at 8.30 o'clock, death being attributed to a complication of ailments following an illness of five years. He was a son of George and Eleanor (Smith) Holly and was born in Fulton county on July 25, 1859. Mr. Holly had resided in Tyrone since 1906, where he was employed by the West Virginia Pulp & Paper company until retirement. He was a member of the First Methodist church. He was united in marriage with Elizabeth Akers, who preceded him in death. Surviving are three children, Clare Holly of Philadelphia, Nial Holly and Mrs. Paul Rhodes of Tyrone.
