HOLMAN.

  Isaac Holman, of 411 Ninth avenue, Juniata, died at his home at 4 
o'clock yesterday afternoon, of pneumonia, hastened by sorrow over the 
death of his only daughter, Mrs. Samuel Ingram, who was buried last 
Tuesday, being also a victim of pneumonia.  Mr. Holman was ill but a 
few days and was confined to his bed only since Saturday.  He was born 
in England, Oct. 21, 1854 and had resided in America for many years.  
He was a machinist and was employed by the Pennsylvania railroad.  He 
was preceded in death by his wife and daughter.  Two sons, Walter and 
William, both of Juniata and a grandchild, survive.  He was a member of 
the Juniata Methodist Episcopal church.  Funeral services will be 
conducted at his late home on Thursday afternoon, at 2.30 o'clock, in 
charge of his pastor, the Rev. Alexander Lamberson; interment in Rose 
Hill cemetery.
