Pearl D., wife of Frank Holmes of Greenwood, died at the Mercy hospital, Saturday evening at 7.30, after a few days' illness of influenza-pneumonia. She was the daughter of William A. and Jennie Sullivan of Uniontown, and was born March 8, 1890. The parents, husband and five small children, William, Jennie, Wallace, Eva and Amon, and the following brothers and sister survive: John, a twin brother of the deceased, who resides in Pittsburgh, Samuel of Pittsburgh, Amon of California, and Matthew and Meryle, both of Uniontown. She was a member of the Baptist church of Dunbar, Pa. As the children are all ill with influenza, the funeral services will be held at the home of a brother-in-law, next door to the late house, tomorrow afternoon at 3 o'clock; services to be in charge of Rev. J. W. Wilt, pastor of the Juniata Church of the Brethren. Interment will be made in the Greenwood cemetery. Altoona Times, Altoona, Pa., Monday Morning, November 25, 1918
