Holsopple, died at her home at Martinsburg last evening at 6 o'clock, death being attributed to pneumonia. She was a daughter of Edwin and Mary (Landis) John and was born near Pottstown on Aug. 7, 1869. She was united in marriage with Rev. Holsopple on Dec. 27, 1900, at Kenilworth. Surviving are the husband and one son, Ira J. Holsopple of Lewistown, and three brothers, William John of Pottstown, Harvey John of Phoenixville and Frank John of Athol. Three grandchildren also survive. Mr. Holsopple was a member of the Church of the Brethren and funeral services will be conducted in the Memorial Church of the Brethren in Martinsburg Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock in charge of the pastor, Rev. A. R. Coffman. The body will be taken to Pottstown for interment. Altoona Mirror, Monday, January 25, 1937
