Jackson Holtzinger, 809 Orange st., New Haven, Conn., died unexpectedly on Saturday at 7 p.m. at the Yale, New Haven Hospital. He was born Jan. 27, 1895 at Tyrone, a son of Joseph and Lucy Holtzinger. On Dec. 27, 1945 at New Haven he was married to the former Louise Papa. She survives. He was an executive industrial engineer for the Farrel Birmingham Co. of Derby and Ansonia, Conn. He was a graduate of Tyrone High and attended Dickinson College and was a veteran of World War I. He held a 50-year membership in the Masonic Lodge. Funeral service will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. at the Getz & Searer funeral Home, Tyrone, in charge of Phil C. Hall, followed by burial in Eastlawn Cemetery. The public is invited to attend the service. Tyrone Daily Herald, Tyrone, Pa., January 14, 1974
