BOBBY R. HOLTZMAN 

  Mr. Bobby R. Holtzman, age 66, of 806 General Jones Drive, Tyrone 
died Saturday, November 15, 2003 at Moran's Home, Bellwood following an 
extended illness.
  He was born February 26, 1937 in Iowa City, Iowa, the son of Homer 
Paul and Jennie Kinder Holtzman.
  He was married on August 2, 1969 to Helen Hughes who survives him.
  Also surviving is one daughter, Robin and her husband Ron Dickson of 
Warriors Mark; one son, Stefan Jobst and his wife Cornelia of Germany.
  One step-son Skip Chamberlain and wife Robyn of Tyrone. Six 
grandchildren; one brother and four sisters, Dale H. Holtzman, Lois 
Johnson, Nina Powell and Bernice McCoy, all of Iowa. He was preceded in 
death by three sisters, Irene, Donna and Bonnie and one brother Elmer 
Holtzman.
  Mr. Holtzman served as a Sergeant First Class in Vietnam, Korea and 
Thailand. He was the recipient of the Bronze Star, Army Commendation 
Medal, Armed forces Expeditionary Medal, Meritorious Unit Citation, 
Vietnam Service Medal and Cross of Gallantry with Palm. Mr. Holtzman 
retired as a guard at the Blair County Prison, Hollidaysburg.
  Private funeral service and interment will be made at the convenience 
of the family. Arrangements are under the direction of the Richard H. 
Searer Funeral Home Inc.
