HOOPER Of 816 Third avenue, Juniata, died at Mercy hospital Saturday afternoon at 2.50 o'clock. He was born Dec. 23, 1874, at Hill Valley, Huntingdon county, son of Hezekiah and Rebecca (Long) Hooper. Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. R. M. Morrison, and one son, Frank B. Hooper, jr., of Juniata, and one brother, J. C. Hooper of Huntingdon. Mr. Hooper was a retired brakeman of the Middle division but served most of his time in the Altoona yards. He retired June 24, 1937, with 39 years and eight months service. His wife, Margaret E. Hooper, died Nov. 13, 1946. He was a member of the Otterbein Evangelical United Brethren church, Juniata, and the B. of R.T. 174. Friends are being received at the Mauk & Yates funeral home. Altoona Mirror, January 7, 1952
