MRS. SARAH HOOPER,

Wife of James Hooper, deceased, died this morning at 5 o'clock, at the 
residence of her son-in-law, Joseph Bancroft, 2215 Sixth avenue.  Mrs. 
Hooper was born in Newry in 1824 and was aged 68 years.  Death resulted 
from bronchial pneumonia.  She leaves to mourn her loss three daughters 
and one son, viz.: James Hooper of Wyoming, Pa., Mrs. Ella Jones, Mrs. 
Joseph Bancroft and Miss May Hooper, of this city.  Funeral 
announcement will be made later.

FUNERAL NOTICE.

  The funeral of Mrs. Sarah Hooper will take place on Sunday morning at 
10:30 o'clock.  Services will be held in the Simpson Methodist church, 
by Rev. D. S. Monroe assisted by Rev. R. H. Wharton.
