Christian Hoover 

Died at his home in North Woodbury township at 9:30 o’clock Tuesday 
evening, aged 65 years. Mr. Hoover was a practical farmer and owned one 
of the nicest farms in the Cove. His affliction was of long duration, 
yet he was able to be about superintending the farm work until the day 
of his death. He is survived by his wife, one son, Calvin and one 
daughter, Margaret, also by four brothers and one sister. Services will 
be held in the German Baptist Brethren church, of which Mr. Hoover was 
a member, at the Cross Roads church, North Woodbury township, Friday 
morning at 10 o’clock and will be conducted by Revs. T. B. Maddocks and 
J. D. Brumbaugh.
