Hoover died at his home in Gaysport on Wednesday evening at 8:30 o'clock following a long illness during which time he suffered from a complication of diseases. He was 50 years old and was born at Henrietta, April 14, 1868. He was married in 1888 to Miss Theda Hartman of that place, who survives with six children: Elvin and Edgar, married, and Pearl, Chalmer, George and Jacob, at home; three grandchildren, three sisters, Mrs. John Miller of Curry, Mrs. David Metzgar of Roaring Spring and Mrs. Johhiah [Josiah] Freesh of Roaring Spring. Mr. Hoover was a member of the Brethren church of Hollidaysburg. Funeral services will be held at the Cross Roads church two miles east of Curry station, at 10 o'clock Saturday.
