JOHN T. HORBAL

A son of Mr. and Mrs. Michael Horbal of Sylvan Hills, near 
Hollidaysburg, died at 1.58 o'clock Sunday morning at the Carlisle army 
post hospital after a short illness.  He was admitted to the hospital 
from the CCC camp, where he was located for some time.  He was born at 
Allegheny Furnace, Altoona, on Sept. 12, 1917.  Surviving are the 
parents and six brothers and sisters, including Frances, Genevieve, 
Edward, Michael, Peter and Robert Horbal, all at home.  Friends are 
being received at the family home. 
 
HORBAL - The funeral of John T. Horbal of Sylvan Hills will be held 
with requiem mass at 9 o'clock Wednesday morning at the St. Mary's 
Catholic church, Hollidaysburg.  Interment will be made in the new St. 
Mary's cemetery.  Friends are being received at the home.
