He was born in Poland Nov. 25, 1897, a son of Paul and Stella Horbal, and was employed as a molder helper by the Pennsylvania railroad. Mr. Horbal was a member of St. Mary's Catholic church, Hollidaysburg, and the Knights of St. George, 74. Surviving are his wife, Catherine (Statz) Horbal; the following children: Frances and Michael of Elizabeth, N. J., Edward, Robert and Genevieve, at home, and Peter, in the navy at Philadelphia, and two brothers, Joseph of Detroit, Mich., and Jacob of Poland. Friends will be received at the home after 7 o'clock this evening. HORBAL - The funeral of Michael Paul Horbal of Sylvan Hills, will be held Saturday morning with requiem mass at 9 o'clock in St. Mary's church, Hollidaysburg.
