REBECCA HORNE Aged 93, widow of Thaddeus Horne, died at 5:25 o'clock yesterday afternoon at the home of her son, Albert Horne, 118 East Logan avenue, after a brief illness. She was born on June 27, 1847, in Freedom township, a daughter of Cornelius and Roseann (Christy) McConnell. On her 90th birthday, Mrs. Horne went to Pittsburgh where a granddaughter took her for a four-hour airplane ride over Pittsburgh and vicinity, since when she had looked forward to flying from Pittsburgh to Chicago. Surviving are one son and one daughter, Albert of the city and Mrs. Emma Cleveland of Swissvale; fourteen grandchildren, seven great- grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild, and one sister, Mrs. Louise Lederer. A son, James T. Horne, died on May 8 of this year. Mrs. Horse was a member of St. Mark's Catholic church. She reposes at the son's home, 118 East Logan avenue. HORNE - The funeral of Mrs. Rebecca (McConnell) Horne of 118 East Logan avenue will be held Saturday morning with requiem mass at 9 o'clock in St. Mark's church. Interment in St. John's cemetery.
