HOSTLER Of 924 North Third street, Bellwood, died at 12 o'clock this morning at the Altoona Hospital following a brief illness. Mr. Hostler was born March 23, 1895 in Bellwood, a son of Howard and Anna M. (Farnsworth) Hostler. Surviving are his wife, the former Jessie Caswell; seven sons and four daughters; William, Allen and Melvin of Akron, Ohio, Bernard of Williamsburg, Lloyd and Mrs. Lulu Flaugh of Camp Lejeune, N.C., and Eunice and Austin Lynn at home; 18 grandchildren and three brothers and five sisters; R. L., Raymond, Mrs. Ida Troxell, Mrs. Ollie Glasgow and Mrs. Florence Hannah of Bellwood, Mrs. Lulu McCaulley of New Jersey, Ernest of Chambersburg and Mrs. Clara Hostler of Altoona. A crane operator in the Juniata P.R.R. shops. Mr. Hostler was a member of the Bellwood Evangelical United Brethren church.
