He was born in Altoona on July 10, 1912, a son of R. A. and Deborah (Mallam) Houck. After graduation from the Altoona High school in 1929 he attended Bucknell university where he was graduated in 1933. He had been employed by the Paul H. Faris company, Inc., in the city since graduation. Surviving are his parents, one brother and one sister, Russell S. of the city and Miss Mary A. Houck, at home. Mr. Houck was a member of St. Luke's Episcopal church, teaching in the Sunday school and taking an active part in the work of the church. Friends are being received at the home. HOUCK - Funeral services for Edward Clayton Houck of 2622 Sixth avenue will be held at 2.30 o'clock Saturday afternoon in St. Luke's Episcopal church by Rev. Francis D. Daley, rector.
