HOUCK 37, of RD 1, Box 405, Carson Valley, Duncansville, died unexpectedly at his home at 1 a.m. Friday, May 16, 1980. Mr. Houck retired as a utility plant operator from the Hollidaysburg Veterans Home in October 1979, after 11 years' service. He was born July 28, 1942, in Duncansville, the son of John M. and Myrtle M. (Garringer) Houck, and married Susan McNelis, in Winchester, Va., March 13, 1964. Surviving are his wife, six children Theresa, Kevin, Karen, Linda, Sandy and Christine, at home; his parents of Hollidaysburg and 11 brothers and sisters, Kenneth of Ashtabula, Ohio; Richard, Daniel and Robert of Turkey Valley, Hollidaysburg; Martin and Mrs. Alma Farber of Canan Station, Mrs. Helen Orr and Mrs. Mary Jenkins of Duncansville, Calvin and Mrs. Patricia Bertram of Hollidaysburg and Mrs. Patricia Swaney of Altoona. Mr. Houck was a member of the Assembly of God Church, Hollidaysburg. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday in Haller Funeral Home, Hollidaysburg. HOUCK - Services for Lloyd W. Houck of RD 1, Box 405, Carson Valley, Duncansville, will be held at 2 p.m. Monday in Haller Funeral Home, Hollidaysburg, by the Rev. Uri H. Stauffer. Interment at Alto-Reste Park.
