Death at Wilmerding of a Former Resident of Altoona. After an illness of two weeks Mrs. Mary Houck, wife of Alem T. Houck, died yesterday morning at her home in Wilmerding. The deceased was born in Hollidaysburg, May 25, 1851, and was therefore aged 48 years, 8 months and 21 days. She was the daughter of Solomon (deceased) and Susan Wilson. She is survived by her husband and these children, all residing in Wilmerding: Harry, Maxwell, Edward, John, Walter and Mabel. Her aged mother is still living in Hollidaysburg and she also leaves one sister, Mrs. John Baird, of Wilmerding. She was a lifelong member of the Methodist Episcopal church. The time of the funeral was not known last evening, but the interment will take place at Hollidaysburg. Morning Tribune, Saturday, February 17, 1900 FUNERAL NOTICE.
