Houseman, An aged and respected citizen of this place, died at 9:20 last night, aged 54 years, 7 months and 2 days, at his home, 901 Seventeenth street. Deceased was born in Sinking Valley, this county. On the 16th day of January, 1866, he was united in marriage with Sarah A. Morgan. The result of this union, two children - William G. Houseman, residing at home, and Mrs. Edith Kemmler, also of this city - survive him. The deceased was a soldier in the late war, having served in the Seventy- sixth regiment, Pennsylvania volunteers. His death was not unexpected, as he has been suffering for over ten months past, having borne the pain of this long illness with Christian fortitude and patience. He was a member of the First Lutheran church and of the Pennsylvania Railroad Relief association. The funeral will take place on Thursday morning. Interment in Fairview.
