Houser, 60, of Ashland, OH and a former Tyrone resident, died Tuesday, Oct. 10, 2006 at his home. He was born Feb. 10, 1946 in Philipsburg, the son of Glenn E. and Edythe J. Cherry Houser. He is survived by the following brothers and sisters- James of Tyrone, R. Herbert of Ashland, OH, Charles E., David P., Shirley Beckwith and Patricia J., all of Tyrone Pike, RD 3 and Raymond of Warriors Mark. Also surviving are a number of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by four brothers and one sister- Glenn E. Jr., Richard L., Bill, Jack and Connie. Mr. Houser was a graduate of Tyrone High School, Class of 1965. He was employed as a tow motor operator and a member of the maintenance staff of Spencer Forge Manufacturers of Spencer, OH with 10 years service. He was a member of the New Life Community Church of Mansfield, OH and the Adult Sunday School Class. Funeral service for Howard J. Houser will be Saturday, Oct. 14, 2006 at 11 a.m. at the Richard H. Searer Funeral Home, Inc. with the Reverend D. Z. Lewis officiating. Interment will be in Bald Eagle Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday from 7 to 9 p.m. and on Saturday from 10 to 11 a.m. Tyrone Daily Herald, October 12, 2006
