Reuben Houser, of Tyrone, a flagman on the Bald Eagle Valley railroad, was run over and killed in the Lock Haven yard on Wednesday evening of last week. His body was so horribly mutilated and torn asunder that its parts had to be left where they were until an undertaker came with a coffin and gathered them up piece by piece. He was aged almost 40 years and leaves a wife and five children to mourn after him. He was a member of the Relief Department from which source his wife will receive one thousand dollars.
