Mrs. Catharine Howarth, wife of Jesse Howarth, died at the residence of her husband, on Fourteenth avenue, near Twelfth street, at 1 o'clock yesterday morning. She has been sick for many months, at times getting much better, but a few weeks ago was attacked with pneumonia, which resulted fatally. The deceased has resided here for many years, and had a large circle of friends to whom she was known for her gentle and loving ways. Her two sons, Hugh and Joseph Butler, are well known in the community. The funeral will take place on Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock. Morning Tribune, Altoona, Pa., Saturday, May 1, 1880 Died. HOWARTH - In this city, April 30, Mrs. Catharine Howarth, wife of Jesse Howarth, aged 48 years. Funeral will take place to-morrow afternoon, at 2:30 o'clock, from her late residence on Fourteenth avenue. Services to be held at St. Luke's Episcopal Church. The friends of the family are respectfully invited to attend.
