HUGHES - In this city, July 23, Emanuel, eldest son of John W. and Mary 
E. Hughes, aged 9 years and 7 days.
    He shall sleep, but not forever
      In the low and silent grave;
    Bless be the Lord that taketh,
      Blessed be the Lord that gave.
