MISS KATE HUGHES.

Sister of Miss Ella Hughes and Mrs. Clayton Summy, of this city, and
Miss Mary Hughes, of Gallitzin, died at 2 o'clock yesterday afternoon,
at St. Francis' hospital, Lancaster, after a long illness.  Deceased
was a member of the Catholic church.  She will be brought to this city
on Pacific express tomorrow morning and then taken to Newry on the
Branch train, where mass will be said over the remains in St.
Patrick's church.  Interment will be made in Newry cemetery.
