MRS. LOU E. HUGHES

Widow of Franklin Hughes, died at her home at Martinsburg, R. D., at 1 
o'clock yesterday morning. She was born in Fulton county, Feb. 24, 
1861, a daughter of Benjamin and Naomi (Duvall) Horton, and married 
Franklin Hughes who died March 13, 1937. She was a member of the Clover 
Creek Church of the Brethren. Surviving are these children: Martin, at 
home; William of Six Mile Run; Benjamin H. of Duquesne and Mrs. Eureka 
Ebersole of Duncansville; one brother, William Horton of Pittsburgh; 
six grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. Friends will be 
received at the Miller funeral home, Martinsburg.
