MRS. LULU JANE HUGHES

Wife of David L. Hughes of 1108 South Twelfth street, died at her home 
at 8:05 o'clock this morning after an extended illness.  She was born 
in the city on July 22, 1864.  Surviving are her husband, eight sons 
and daughters, Walter, Charles, Clifford, David, Carl, Mrs. Stella 
Temple, Mrs. Maud Sweitzer and Mrs. Merrill Powles; twenty-six 
grandchildren, three brothers and one sister, Edward Walton, Mrs. Eva 
Bisell, William and George Walton.  Mrs. Hughes was a member of the 
Methodist church. 

Funeral Notice. 

Funeral services for Mrs. Lulu Jane Hughes of 1108 South Twelfth street 
will be held at the Stevens Memorial chapel at 2:30 o'clock Sunday 
afternoon.  Interment will be made in Oak Ridge cemetery.  The body may 
be viewed at Stevens mortuary.
