DEATHS OF A DAY

WILLIAM BEALE HUGHES

Following an illness of several weeks' duration, William Beale Hughes,
of 430 Chestnut avenue, died at his home yesterday afternoon at 1:30
o'clock of a complication of diseases.  He was the son of the late Dr.
John G. and Adalina K. Hughes and for a number of years was employed
in the shop clerks' office at the Altoona machine shops.  His mother
survives with one sister, Mrs. Anna Hughes Cessna, and two brothers,
Raymond and Percy M., .all of this city.  Private funeral services
will occur tomorrow afternoon at 3:30 o'clock at his late home,
followed by interment in the Greenwood cemetery.  Friends may view the
remains this evening between 7 and 9 o'clock.
