MADELENE B. HUMERICK 

Former resident of Altoona, died yesterday morning at 4.30 o'clock in 
Salt Lake City, Ut., following a three-month illness.  She was born in 
Waynesboro, Pa., Feb. 8, 1904.  Miss Humerick was employed by the Great 
Atlantic & Pacific Tea company before accepting a position in Denver, 
Colo.  She later was transferred to Salt Lake City.  Miss Humerick was 
a graduate of St. Mark's school.  She is survived by her father, Albert 
E. Humerick of Altoona, and a sister, Evelyn R. Humerick of Washington, 
D.C.  Her mother preceded her in death in 1936.  The body will be 
brought back to Altoona for burial.

HUMERICK - Funeral services for Madelene B. Humerick, former resident 
of Altoona, will be held Saturday morning at 10 o'clock at St. Rose of 
Lima Catholic church with requiem mass.  Interment in Calvary cemetery. 
Miss Humerick will repose at the V. L. Stevens funeral home Friday.
