HUNT Mary Elizabeth Hunt, well known in the Altoona district as a sweet soprano singer, died at 2:05 o'clock yesterday morning of peritonitis. Miss Hunt was taken ill while enjoying a vacation at Wildwood, N.J., and was brought home on Sunday. She was the only child of Mr. and Mrs. John W. Hunt, of 605 Third street, Juniata, and in the same household is also survived by her grandfather, James L. Hunt. The deceased was born in Juniata on April 10, 1894, and lived her entire life in the borough. She was a gifted singer and her services in music were in constant demand in the borough and in this city. She sang regularly for several years in the Second Presbyterian church. Miss Hunt was a member of the First Methodist Episcopal church and Sunday school, of Juniata. Her pastor, the Rev. Alexander Lamberson, will conduct the funeral service over her remains at 2:30 o'clock Saturday afternoon, in the home. Interment will be made in Fairview cemetery.
