Hunter, at her home, 1253 Woodland avenue. Mrs. Hunter had been in failing health the past three years from a complication of diseases, her condition becoming worse about one month ago, when she failed rapidly and fell asleep eternally last evening. Mrs. Rebecca Ann Hunter was a daughter of John and Mary J. Tolbert Webner and was born at Huston, Centre county, December 18, 1875. On March 28, 1895 she was united in marriage with Roller H. Hunter at Ironsville, the late Rev. Dr. Richard H. Gilbert, performing the ceremony. Surviving her passing are her father, John Webner her husband, Roller H. Hunter; four sons, Marvon, Raymond, Howard and Robert Hunter; two daughters, Mrs. James G. Strachan and Mrs. Charles Houck, all of Tyrone; three grandchildren, five sisters and two brothers: Mrs. George Houmard, of Wooster, Ohio; Mrs. William Winters, Birmingham; Mrs. Harry Benton, Tyrone; Mrs. M. F. Quiggle, Pine Station, Pa.; Mrs. Edward Doll, Altoona: James H. Webner, Chemung, Illinois and John Webner, Orangeville, Illinois. Mrs. Hunter was a member of the Methodist Episcopal church and when in health, enjoyed attending and taking part in divine services. She was a great home wife and mother and was constantly doing those things that made the home a happy abiding place. She was kind, loving and considerate and will be keenly missed from the home circle and from among her many friends. Funeral services will be conducted Sunday afternoon at the home, 1253 Woodland avenue by Rev. Elmer F. Ilgenfritz, pastor of the Methodist Episcopal church, Tyrone, on Sunday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock. Interment in Tyrone. Tyrone Daily Herald, Tyrone, Pa., January 7, 1932
