HUPERT Of 1721 Sixteenth street, died at her residence at 1 o'clock yesterday afternoon. She was born in Clearfield County, Oct. 27, 1883, a daughter of Peter & Josephine (DeWitt) [should be Perlin / LaBelle] Lacour. Surviving are her husband, John; the following children, John and Robert, Altoona; Daniel, United States army in France; Donald, at home; Bertha, at home, and two sisters, Mrs. Josephine Sibert, Hastings and Mrs. Gertrude Logan of Philadelphia. Mrs. Hupert was a member of the Cathedral of the Blessed Sacrament and the Altar society. Friends will be received at the home after 7 o'clock this evening. Altoona Mirror, Altoona, Pa., December 30, 1944 Note: Josephine was listed in her son Ernest LaBelle's obituary as Paroul. She was listed as Perlin in a Sibert obituary & Perlin in Francis Henri LaBalle's death certificate. John Eugene LaBelle brought his wife Josephine, & children Ernest, Mary Ann & Francis Henry to the United States. His first born daughter born in the U.S. (Mary Jane) along with her sibling of Ernest, Mary Ann & Francis Henri are first shown on the 1880 census records under Josephine & Peter Lacour's household.
