Our Duncansville correspondent writes: Mrs. Hurly, who was for a long while in attendance at the beside of Mrs. Harry Jenks, who was very ill with typhoid fever, died suddenly yesterday afternoon. The particulars, as far as we could learn, are these: The physician had prepared a medicine which was taken regularly by Mrs. Hurly as a preventative of fever, which medicine was placed with other medicine used by Mrs. Jenks as an outward application. In mistake she took a dose of the latter, which was a poisonous preparation. She was immediately taken sick, and though physicians were quickly summoned, they could not stay the hand of death, for in about one hour her spirit took its flight.
