MRS. ETHEL P. HYLE

A native of Altoona serving as resident nurse in the military academy 
in Bordentown, N.J., died Sunday afternoon in the nursing home in 
Hightown, N.J. She was born on Aug. 25, 1889, a daughter of John and 
Prudence (Hartman) Bowen, and in 1919 married S. Earl Hyle who preceded 
her in death. Surviving are several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Hyle was a 
graduate of Altoona High School and the Altoona Hospital School of 
Nursing. Friends will be received in Books Funeral Home from 7 to 9 
p.m. tomorrow.
