Hyssong, foreman of No. 5 company of the city's fire department, died at her home, 2211 Eighth avenue, at 12:30 o'clock this morning, of tuberculosis after an illness of three months. In the hope that she might be benefited she was on October 7 taken to Mont Alto sanitarium, but the change apparently had no effect and her husband brought her back on last Thursday, since which time she gradually grew worse. The deceased was the daughter of David H. and M. C. (deceased) Edwards, was born in this city on Christmas Day, December 25, 1878, and had resided all her life here. She was united in marriage to Fred B. Hyssong on September 18, 1902, and he survives with three children - George, Margaret and Florence. She is also survived by her father, David H. Edwards, one sister, Gertrude, at home, and these brothers - Mervin of Lansing, James, William, Harry, Gilbert and Louis, at home. She was a member of the Chestnut Avenue Methodist church.
