Grace Irene Ickes died at 4.50 o'clock yesterday morning at her home, 2007 Third street, death being caused by influenza after an illness of eight days. She was the wife of Harry W. Ickes, now in the government service. She was the daughter of F. A. and Mary E. Bryan and was born in Conemaugh, Oct. 28, 1894. She was married Dec. 24, 1914, and besides her husband is survived by a brother, William of Sunbury, and the following sisters: Mrs. Cora Reem, Mrs. Eva Hammond, both of Johnstown; Mrs. William Walters, Mrs. Marion D. McCauley, Mrs. Edward Wampler and Mrs. H. C. Hill, all of this city. She was a member of the Fairview Methodist church. Altoona Times, Altoona, Pa., Thursday, November 21, 1918 The funeral services of Mrs. Grace I. Ickes, will be held from the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. F. A. Bryan, 2007 Third street, at 3.30 o'clock this afternoon. Burial will be made in Rose Hill cemetery. Services and burial will be private. Altoona Times, Altoona, Pa., Friday Morning, November 22, 1918
