He is survived by a wife and one son and daughter. Two sisters, Mrs. Edward N. Root, of Bellwood, and Mrs. Benner W. Rumberger, of Nitany Valley, Centre county, also survive. The deceased was raised in the faith of the Friends church, but for twenty-five years had been a faithful member of the Methodist church. His life in Bellwood for the past ten years had been in perfect accord with this profession. He was a loving husband, a kind and indulgent father, a good citizen and neighbor. He had been in the employ of the P.R.R. for twelve years, ten having been in the freight office in Bellwood, where he was held in the highest esteem by all. Two weeks ago he had a paralytic stroke, from which he rallied, and up until Thursday last he was at his post of duty, but on that day he was compelled to again take his bed. The funeral services will be held at the house on Thursday evening at 6:30, in charge of Rev. S. D. Wilson. On Wednesday morning the body will be taken to Unionville for interment.
