ARCH IGOU DIES AFTER LONG ILLNESS

  Arch Igou, 64, 329 Boyles street, Bellwood, died at his home at 8:30 
o'clock this morning following an extended illness.
  A lifelong resident of Bellwood, he was born March 24, 1886, the son 
of Henry C. and Sarah Murphy Igou.
  He married Kathryn Phillips, June 9, 1915.
  He is survived by his wife, the following children, Harry, Mrs. Erma 
Young, James, Lois, Richard, Ronald, all of Bellwood, and Dorothy, 
Clearfield, and Donald, U.S. Army in Japan.  One sister, Mrs. Ruth 
Faber, of Hollidaysburg, also survives.
  He was a member of the Logan Valley Presbyterian church of Bellwood, 
and of the Brotherhood of Railroad Trainmen, Altoona.
  Funeral arrangements have not been announced pending the return of 
son Donald from Japan.
