Igou, 50, of 1313 Riverside Avenue, Tyrone, died Friday, April 11, 2003 at Altoona Hospital. He was born August 27, 1952 in Altoona, a son of the late Edwin D. and Madelyn F. (Reese) Igou. On October 28, 1972 at St. Matthew Catholic Church, Tyrone, he married Cathy L. Schoch. Surviving is his wife, a son Brian A. of Tyrone, a daughter Breein M. at home, a sister Susan Blaska and husband Mike of Tyrone and the following nieces and nephews, Christopher and Kendra Blaska, Tonia Nevling-Ray, Tarin and Tiffany Nevling, Corbin and Braeden Nevling-Ray and Taylor Winslow. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Daniel and Stephen. He had been a painter at Penn State University for three years and also for Paint-Rite of Tyrone. He was an avid Pittsburgh Pirates, Pittsburgh Steelers and Penn State fan. Mr. Igou was a member of the Loyal Order of the Moose, Tyrone, Blazing Arrow Hook and Ladder Company and the Laborer's Union Local #910. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, April 15, 2003 at 12 noon at the Feller Memorial Home with Father Joseph T. Orr officiating. Interment will be at Oak Grove Cemetery. Friends will be received at the Feller Memorial Home on Monday from 2-4 p.m. and from 7-9 p.m. Memorial gifts may be made to the Loyal Order of the Moose, Logan Avenue, Tyrone, Pa. 16686.
