IMLER Of Hollidaysburg RD 2, died at 10:45 a.m. yesterday at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Walter R. Miller, after an extended illness. He was born Nov. 14, 1879, in Osterburg, a son of John and Suzanna (Klutz) Imler, and married Grace M. Points Dec. 19, 1909, in Bedford. His wife preceded him in death July 2, 1954. Surviving are two sons and a daughter, George I. of Altoona, James of Rome, N.Y., and Mrs. Pearl Miller of Hollidaysburg RD 2; five grandchildren, seven great- grandchildren and a sister, Mrs. Hattie Allison of Cross Keys. He was a retired veterinarian and graduated from Illinois Veterinary School of Science, Sept. 30, 1909. Mr. Imler was a member of the Geeseytown Lutheran Church, honorary member of the Hollidaysburg Lions Club, honorary member of the Geeseytown Volunteer Fire Company and a life member of the Frankstown Twp. Sportsmen Association. Friends will be received in the Plank Funeral Home, Hollidaysburg, from 7 to 10 p.m. today, 2 to 4 and 7 to 10 p.m. tomorrow. Altoona Mirror, March 8, 1967
