Who He Has Gathered the Past Week to Swell the Great Majority. Jacob Irvin, of Bellwood, well known throughout the county, died at his residence on Sunday evening at 9 o'clock of pneumonia. At the time of his death he was in the 50th year of his age. His wife and four children survive to mourn the loss of a kind husband and affectionate father. Mr. Irvin served in the late war, having been a member of company F, Seventy-sixth regiment, Pennsylvania volunteers, and was honored by his comrades as a true soldier. He was a member of post 426, Grand Army of the Republic, of Bellwood. Altoona Tribune, February 14, 1889
