THE GRIM REAPER'S WORK.

Who He Has Gathered the Past Week to Swell the Great Majority.

  Jacob Irvin, of Bellwood, well known throughout the county, died at 
his residence on Sunday evening at 9 o'clock of pneumonia.  At the time 
of his death he was in the 50th year of his age.  His wife and four 
children survive to mourn the loss of a kind husband and affectionate 
father.  Mr. Irvin served in the late war, having been a member of 
company F, Seventy-sixth regiment, Pennsylvania volunteers, and was 
honored by his comrades as a true soldier.  He was a member of post 
426, Grand Army of the Republic, of Bellwood.
