IRWIN [sic] DEAD John Thompson Irvin, of Bald Eagle, the well known mail carrier, died at 5 o'clock yesterday morning from pneumonia. The young man carried mail on route No. 3 and worked as late as last Wednesday. The was a son of Mr. and Mrs. John Thompson Irvin and was born at Port Matilda, January 27, 1893. He was a member of the Methodist Episcopal church and the Independent Order of Odd Fellows. Surviving are his parents, four sisters and one brother, who are as follows: Mrs. Hose [Hosea] Woomer, of Tyrone, Florence, Harry, Cora and Nellie all at home.
